The Center for Tobacco Control Research Zhejiang University School of Medicine is a organization built in 2007, which is fully tobacco control research organization in China. A multi-disciplinary researcher group works there, including in public health, public policy, and behavioral areas. Several renowned international experts have been invited to act as senior science consultants to the Center.
       Our primary academic focus is to develop culturally relevant methods and tools for tobacco control in China in social behavioral behavior perspectives.Since the center was built some important tobacco control projects have be implemented, including:
      (1)Building advocacy capacity for tobacco control among the public health workforce in China  supported by The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease);
      (2) Tobacco Control Courses in Smoke-free Universities with Public Health Faculties(supported by The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease),
      (3) Facilitate MOH Endorsement of Tobacco Control Curriculum Implementation through Promoting Tobacco Control Curricula in Medical Schools.(supported by The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease),
      (4) Behavioral pattern of unassisted smoking cessation: policy evidences study based on population survey, (Supported by China Natural Science Foundation),

(5)Building Tobacco Dependence Treatment Capacity in Medical Universities and Affiliated Hospitals in China, (Supported by Global Bridge) etc.
